We have decades of leadership in traditional transmission products including network processors, T1/E1 and T3/E3 framers, mappers and line interfaces units, OC-3/OC-12 SONET framers, and T1/E1-OC48 traffic managers. Honored with a 2010 4GWE Wireless Backhaul Achievement Award in 2010, Mindspeed, continues to support 3G wireless backhaul systems, routing/switching equipment, broadband access solutions and multiservice provisioning platforms.
Mindspeed also serves the growing market for Carrier Ethernet products that perform intelligent Ethernet aggregation and switching functions while significantly reducing board space, power consumption and cost-per-port for OEMs and their customers. These products are optimized for the networking infrastructure and include Ethernet MACs that dramatically increase the performance, efficiency and scalability of enterprise and wide-area networks (WANs) by significantly reducing processing requirements.
