Overview

Description

Mindspeed's™ RL56CSMV/6 provides the processing core for six channels of a central site remote access server supporting high-speed T1/E1/PRI digital lines. The access processor includes a full-featured, self-contained data/fax/voice modem solution. Data modem handshake, fax modem protocol, voice codecs, and ISDN B-channel data functions are supported and controlled through the AT command set and Mailbox Messages.

  • Data and fax modulations: ITU-T V.90, K56Flex™, K56Plus, V.34 (33.6 Kbps), V.FC, V.32 bis, V.32, V.22 bis, V.22A/B, V.23, and V.21; Bell 212A and 103
  • 6 channels of complex voice, fax or data modem termination
  • ISDN: 64/56 Kbps ISDN BRI, HDLC or data pass-through
  • Voice coders: G.711, G.723, G.726, G.729, G.168 EC, jitter buffer, VAD, DTMF detect
  • Voice API using Mailbox Messages
  • Error correction/compression: V.44, V.42bis, V.42, MNP 2-5
