Overview

Description

The M02045-2Y is an integrated, high-gain post-amplifier intended for fiber-optic communication up to 200 Mbps. Normally placed following the photodetector and transimpedance amplifier, the post-amplifier provides the necessary gain for PECL-compatible logic outputs. The M02045-2Y also includes a programmable signal-level detector,allowing the user to set thresholds at which the logic outputs are enabled. The signal detect function typically has 2.25 dB (optical) of hysteresis, which prevents chatter at low input levels.
