Low Power (< 140 mW) Linear Amp in 3X3 16 PIN QFN Package

The M02143 is a high-performance 10.3 Gbps linear amplifier with selectable gain of either 19.5 or 29 dB that contains programmable input equalization, integrated loss of signal (LOS) detection and a received signal strength indicator (RSSI) output. With low THD and typical input referred noise of 260 uVRMS, the M02143 is capable of cleanly amplifying signals as small as 3.3 mVPP at full data rate and with its wide input dynamic range, the M02143 can accept up to 1.6 VPP differential input voltage.

Rate select is supported for SFP+ applications and/or to achieve optimum performance at data rates ≤ 4.25 Gbps.

Using the I2C interface allows complete adjustability of LOS, output amplitude and input equalization by internal DAC settings. Additionally, output squelch "Jam" can be enabled or disabled as well as the other internal settings.
