155 Mbps AGC Pre-Amplifier


Overview

Description

The M02006 is a low-noise transimpedance amplifier with AGC. The AGC allows approximately 45 dB of dynamic range, enabling longer-reach, 155 Mbps ATM/SONETsystems to be addressed using a low-cost CMOS design for the first time. For optimum system performance, the M02006 should be mounted as close as possible to the PIN photodetector inside a lensed cap TO can. The very high gain, low noise and differential output of the M02006 provide for enhanced performance over existing devices.
