Overview
Description
Mindspeed's Telecom Application Package Software (TAP) works in conjunction with T1/E1, T3/E3, SONET, and ATM devices. The device interface software simplifies application and management of the device. Register configuration and driver functionality is provided in addition to value-added features such as facility failure integration and performance monitoring. The TAP family of software is available for many Mindspeed physical layer devices. TAP software is characterized by a well-defined application programming interface (API) that is common across different products. The TAP software speeds time to market and allows customer resources to be used more efficiently.
