DS3/E3 Framer
Overview
Description
Mindspeed's family of DS3/E3 framers are used in a wide variety of datacom and telecom applications. DS3/E3 Framers format data for transmission and extract data for reception at DS3 (44.736Mbs) and E1 (34.368Mbs) line speeds. High-integration drives down per-port framer cost and reduces board space requirements, allowing equipment suppliers to develop single, software configurable system solutions for North American and European standards-based telecommunications equipment.
