Lead (Pb)-Free and Green Readiness

The Restriction on Certain Hazardous Substances has (RoHS) directive imposed many challenges to the electronic industry. Mindspeed Technologies understands the complexity involved in meeting the directive, and is committed in providing our customers with high quality products, that meet the RoHS directives.

On-going changes to the directives are being discussed not only in Europe but also around the world. These changes are not limited to material threshold limits of banned substances, but also disclosure of the material composition, marking, labeling and packaging materials.

Mindspeed's Lead (Pb)-Free and Green Initiative

Mindspeed's current lead (Pb)-free and green initiative is to convert Mindspeed products to lead-free and RoHS compliant packages with minimal cost through qualification by inference (QBI), as well as support customer demand and a cleaner environment.
